Course Structure:
Personal learning assessment
Gain clarity on your personal learning and development goals
One day facilitated development workshop
During our programme, you will be presented with various tasks involving your four-legged teacher. During the tasks, our executive coaches will observe and assess your interactions with our horses and coach you to gain bespoke insight into your emotional state ‘in the moment’ and how these can affect your ability to handle a variety of situations which will underpin your personality traits.
We will then take this back to the classroom and discuss practical methods to sharpen your knowledge of yourself, your habitual behaviours and the effects on those around you. Through this exploration, you will gain an understanding of your internal barriers and how to intentionally remove them and how to make the most of your work based relationships. The focus will be on giving you the skills to choose how you impact a situation and to present yourself with confidence.
A second workshop will take place during the second part of the course on Intentional Interactions.
Four months supported learning programme
A comprehensive programme allowing you to test, practice and refine the skills and concepts explored on the workshop in a real-life context; with the work that you normally do and the people that you normally work with. Working in this way, on live issues, in a facilitated environment, is the key to harnessing the behavioural changes you identified in your facilitated development workshop.
Peer group mentoring
Supported network for your development journey allowing for sharing of wins and, importantly the learning from less successful approaches with your fellow learners. A community to help keep your learning on track.
One to one coaching
Personal sessions with an experienced coach to ensure your continued progression towards your development destination
Progress assessment
Review of progress against development goals, utilising an appropriate blend of self, peer, supervisor and facilitator feedback whilst also identifying the next set of personal development goals.
